BITCHASSWHORE! and BITCH MULLET! stupid mullet lady, nit picking on how many damn chicken strips I'm supposed to serve. I'm sorry, I'm not paid enough to care, and I think I'm doing my job quite well. I don't slack off, but I could do without the hovering and uncomfortable observations.
All my thumbnails are done! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! too bad I'm going to be assigned 50 revisions for the weekend and 60 wordmarks due on Wed. Eww. Not fun. I also have two tests to study for next week, but at least I realize that they're coming up, I took a test on Wed. and had no clue. Fortunately, it was multiple choice and I go to class everyday, and our teacher went over the essay questions plenty, so I think I did okay, but obviously not great. These other two tests I wouldn't be so fortunate on if I didn't study, so yeah, gotta do that this weeked along with the thumbnails.
The rest of this semester is going to be tough AND it's going to fly by. I need to make sure I fix up my resume this weekend, and get into the co-op loop this next week. So yeah, fun stuff. Off I go to.......SLEEP! Oh, glorious sleep, how I missed you so.

Bitch Mullets
Good lord I'm tired. I've been pretty much constantly working all week. Go to class, eat a little something, do some thumbnails, go serve slop, do more thumbnails, rather depressing really. I really haven't talked to anyone much at all this week, most of my socializing has been limited to talking to people in class or at work. I was hoping to go out for a bit last night, but unfortunately that didn't work out. I'm just rather exhausted is all. I almost fell asleep in philosophy, and usually I'm pretty good about being able to pay attention. It doesn't help that I've been having some trouble falling asleep, I'm tired all day, but when I lay down to go to bed I can't seem to sleep. It's really annoying.
Okay, enough complaining, sorry about that. My mood hasn't been the greatest this week, I've been very blah. Anyways, I have 20 thumbnails left to do for tomorrow, which shouldn't be too bad. I just really don't want to go to work, the last couple of days of work I really thought I might fall asleep on my feet. My line is the one of the cleanest though, because I'm so bored and am constantly looking for something to do. Plus there's this one supervisor who is incredibly irritating sometimes because she's so nit picky, even if there's nothing wrong she finds something bitch about, like if it isn't fixed the whole operation of serving slop is going to go to hell. Well, you know what, I'd like to fix your damn mullet because that's bothering me and I think it's distracting the other workers. Mullets are never a good idea. Not even when combined with "Achey Breaky Heart."
So I didn't stop complaining, what a surprise. I'm going to get some food now.

Are You Mocking Me?
So it's noon and my roommate's still asleep. I left for a while earlier to deposit a check and then find someplace to study, where a bird then decided to crap on my thumbnails. I thought it was such a great idea to do some work outside, but I suppose not. I hate mockingbirds, and it sucks that it's the state bird for just about every southern state. There used to be one that tortured my cat (don't ask me why my cat never caught it, she was a strange one, but still very cute) and it would sit on our patio just squawking it little birdy beak at us. It was one persistant damn bird. My dad even sprayed it with the hose a number of times, but the damn thing would still come back. My cat must have destroyed it's nest or something, because I think it had a profound hatred for her. All I know is that it shit processed mulberries on our pool deck and patio and annoyed the crap out of my parents and I.
The moral of the story....To kill a mockingbird is not such a bad concept.

Blogiversary!
Damn blogger is pissing me off. This may also be the only anniversary for this damn thing, I had so many witty funny things typed and now they're lost forever because I already wasted enough time typing them up in the first place. Now I'm just kind of mad. It's more like a blog adversary than a blogiversary.

Blah, yadda, blah
Well, another day comes to a close. Took a test in philosophy, I think I did quite well. I ranted on how Plato would have all the arts abolished in "the Republic" saying it's human nature to want to express themselves, and if everything was so balanced that would be denying human nature's innate dynamics, and blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda, I came home. Then I had women's health where we discussed menopause and how the average woman will have about 400 periods in her lifetime, yeesh, I'm a long ways off, but it sounds like it's easier to deal with PMS and such much more than menopause. I will make sure to be very well read on hormone replacement therapy when my time comes, but I've got a few years yet.
THEN, I had the joy of going to work, where it was way too hot and I felt light-headed for most of my shift. It was quite strange I thought maybe I was getting sick because I felt pretty close to fainting for a while, but I've never actually fainted before, so I'm not sure. ANYWAYS, my bro-in-law's sister has recruited me to do some copy images to hang in the baby room her and her husband are decorating. I get to draw 4 duck pictures, and all I have to do is replicate, no thinking, no ideations, just drawing. Plus, I'll get a few bucks as well, I think I'll charge $20 for each thing, depending on the costs. Pretty cheap I think, but it's family of family, so it's all good.
So now I've just come back from my friends' place where they had a little get together and met a couple new people (it was only 6 of us, and I already knew 3, so yeah a couple (that was a pointless explanation, right?)). Got some good spagetti and there were some interesting topics that came up, mostly on the ridiculous end, but they progressed from G-rated to X-rated throughout the couple of hours I was there. Rather amusing really. So now I'm tired, and I have an 8 o'clock class tomorrow and I have a couple phone calls to make yet. Off I go to do everyday things.

I am
I am artistic and sarcastic
I wonder what my cat's are thinking
I hear a trickling stream
I see my reflection
I want a significant other (eventually)
I am artistic and sarcastic
I pretend to be a super hero
I feel the agony of losing
I touch a cat's soft fur
I worry about what will happen at night
I cry for a friend in pain
I am artistic and sarcastic
I understand that 1+1=2
I say "believe in yourself"
I dream about bad days that never come,
and am relieved
I wrote this four years ago, I don't really think I've changed all that much since then. That's really quite comforting to know, because I like who I am.

Optic Rage!
Ego Boost
YAY! My research has been deemed "well done!" I had one of the top five research papers in my class, and that makes me happy because I'm already getting my ass into gear for the rest of the semester so now I just need to keep it up. Also I found out from a fellow student how to get my resume out to some companies through the Co-Op/Internship office. Sweet. So I'm going to head over there after my next class and find out all the information that they need from me so I can get into there system and start looking for a job. The girl I talked to said she was getting $10/hour and asked if I was looking for a job because she got a better job and needs to find someone to fill it. Unfortunately it starts next Wed. and I'm too busy during normal business hours to work during the school year, BUT hopefully I can find something for the summer through this co-op thing.
Well, I have class in about half an hour, and fortunately I don't have my lab tonight so I can STUDY! Oh, goody. My philosophy prof just told us yesterday that we have a test TOMORROW! I figured he'd have the test soon (there's no schedule for this class, so I never REALLY know) but I thought he'd at least give us a weeks notice, and especially since I haven't read anything on Plato's Republic, so I am now cramming with ClassicNotes (gradesaver.com, they're like free Cliff's Notes!).
So yeah, I'm doing pretty good after my Spring Break, and now I'm kind of glad that I didn't go anywhere because I did really good on my research, which will only help me in the next couple of months of project after project for this company. Also, I was able to pet the kitty outside the dorm which is always great therapy. I can't wait to have a pet of my very own, it's going to be great when I move to an apartment.

Joker vs. The Green Goblin
Symbolism Anyone?
Okay, for some reason I remember some funky ass dream from this morning. Probably dreamt in between my snoozings, always fun right? Don't know how it came to this, BUT I remember waking up in the middle of a heart surgery (being performed on me) and not being freaked out, everything was rather calm. I think I had a heart murmur or something to be fixed, and for some reason it felt like I really knew the doctor, but it was some asian lady that I've never seen before....or have I? I guess the operation went smoothly because after a VERY quick recovery I ended up on a pier, with the cast of Friends. Why? No one knows. And we all thought it would be cool to pretend we were in Top Gun, except the girls were the pilots and sadly there was no Tom Cruise. I don't believe these were two different dreams, because I was wondering how my scar looked from my heart surgery which was now a very healed mark going down my sternum. And Friends were asking what that was about.....
I don't know if it means anything, the heart surgery thing I might gleem some relevance from, but the Top Gun Friends thing makes no sense. It's not like I've seen either recently. I just find it interesting because I never remember dreams, and if I do it's always some silly crap like this.
Usually the dreams I remember are those really frustrating ones where I get up late for class and the day gets progressively worse and I eventually wake up at 5 in the morning relieved to find out it's only 5 in the morning, none of that crap happened, and I still have a couple more hours of sleep left. Nothing like trauma to make you appreciate your day more. I used to have falling dreams, except when I slept in a water bed in high school I would somehow raise myself up some so that I would wake up with my bed sloshing around with the feeling that I actually fell into it.
Okay, so this post has nothing to do with anything really, just thought it might be fun to share. Though now I realize it just doesn't make any sense, but I'm still expecting to find a scar on my chest even though I know I didn't have heart surgery. I would get so much pity attention if I did though, pity attention rocks. Maybe I'll go throw myself in front of another car.....or maybe not, nevermind. Forget I said anything.

Funky Fresh and Not the Best
I am quite tired. I hate it when I can't fall asleep and end up getting only 4 hours in for no good reason. Blah. I guess school is okay, but now the comm. design professors are trying to scare us all for the midpoint review. Because they only pick the best, and I'm going to be honest and say where I have always seen myself as maybe not THE best, but pretty high up there, and now I just don't know. There are a lot of good designers in my class (not to mention the other 60 students), and I can't say with certainty that I'll make through. I am proud of the fact that I haven't missed or been tardy to a single class, and that if it comes down to picking between people who are pretty much equal in ability the person with the better work ethic will come up top.
I guess I'm having some self-doubt, okay, I KNOW I'm having some self-doubt. If I don't make it through, I could try again, but I hope it doesn't come to that. Also, I can just see my siblings thinking I'm even more of "screw up" if I happened to not pass the review. Not that they're the standard that I want to base myself on, it would just be damn annoying. They would see the B on my project as "average" and not as good and not as this being a damn hard class to get an "A" in. You can't just study the stuff, figure out some equations and get things right. You have to be new, exciting, FRESH. I'm afraid I won't be able to think out my solutions without direction, I'm great at following direction, but I'm hesitant to show something "out there."
I can't be timid, or hesitant. I need to take a little more risk, or a lot more, just a big ol' game o' risk. I think I have false focus, I don't know, I need to be sure I'm putting more than just "time" into my work. I've never liked doing things that are hard, I've always been pretty lucky for school work to come pretty easy for me, but that means I've never had to really "work" for what I want. Hmm....I wonder if that's why I stopped swimming, maybe it got too hard especially when I realized I would never be the BEST.
Alright, my GOAL is to kick my ass into gear, stop breezing by, I need to motivate myself so that I'm not just good, but great. Easier said than done, but while I don't LIKE to do things that are hard, I have done so before, so I know I can, I just have to want it bad enough.
Or maybe I'll just become a motivational speaker....."I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darnit....People like me."

Making a List
Making lists for a made up company really kind of sucks, I thought I'd be about done by now. Not quite, I haven't even started on my FOURTEEN mind maps yet, at least those don't have to be typed. I'm tired, and my brain's still on vacation. I still have three days till Monday to finish my stuff though, I should be fine. I have no idea how people who actually did something for Spring Break are going to get all there stuff done, especially if they didn't do anything before the the break, like me. Got my image boards done though, so yeah. I don't know.
This post sucks.

Cinderella
I guess you think you know this story.
You don't. The real one's much more gory.
Th phoney one, the one you know,
Was cooked up years and years ago,
And made to sound all soft and sappy
Just to keep the children happy.
Mind you, they got the first bit right,
The bit where, in the dead of night,
The Ugly Sisteres, jewels and all,
Departed for the Palace Ball,
While darling little Cinderella
Was locked up in the slimy cellar,
Where rats who wanted things to eat
Began to nibble at her feet.
She bellowed, "Help!", and "Let me out!"
The Magic Fairy heard her shout.
Appearing in a blaze of light,
She said, "My dear, are you all right?"
"All right?" cried Cindy. "Can't you see
I feel as rotten as can be!"
She beat her fist against the wall,
And shouted, "Get me to the Ball!
There is a Disco at the Palace!
The rest have gone and I am jealous!
I want a dress! I want a coach!
And earrings and a diamond brooch!
And silver slippers, two of those!
And lovely nylon pantyhose!
Thereafter it will be a cinch
To hook the handsome Royal Prince!"
The Fairy said, "Hang on a tick."
She gave her wand a mighty flick
And quickly, in no time at all,
Cindy was at the Palace Ball!
It made the Ugly Sisters wince
To see her dancing with the Prince.
The Prince himself was turned to pulp,
All he could do was gasp and gulp.
The midnight struck. She shouted, "Heck!
I've got to run to save my neck!"
The Prince cried, "No! Alas! Alack!"
He grabbed her dress to hold her back.
As Cindy shouted, "Let me go!"
The dress was ripped from head to toe.
She ran out in her underwear,
But lost one slipper on the stair.
The Prince was on it like a dart,
He pressed it to his pounding heart,
"The girl this slipper fits," he cried,
"Tomorrow morn shall be my bride!
I'll visit every house in town
Until I've tracked the maiden down!"
Then rather carelessly, I fear,
He placed it on a crate of beer.
At once, one of the Ugly Sisters,
(The one whose face was blotched with blisters)
Sneaked up and grabbed the dainty shoe,
And quickly flushed it down the loo.
Then in its place she calmly put
The slipper from her own left foot.
Ah-ha, you see, the plot grows thicker,
And Cindy's luck starts looking sicker.
Next day, the Prince went charging down
To knock on all the doors in town.
In every house, the tension grew.
Who was the owner of the shoe?
The shoe was huge and frightfully wide.
(A normal foot got lost inside.)
Also it smelled a wee bit icky.
(The owner's feet were hot and sticky.)
Thousands of eager people came
To try it on, but all in vain.
Now came the Ugly Sisters' go.
One tried it on. The Prince screamed, "No!"
But she screamed, "Yes! It fits! Whoopee!
So now you've got to marry me!"
The Prince went white from ear to ear.
He muttered, "Let's get out of here."
"Oh no you don't! You've made a vow!
There's no way you can back out now!"
"Off with her head!", the Prince roared back.
They chopped it off with one big whack.
This pleased the Prince. He smiled and said,
"She's prettier without her head."
Then up came Sister Number Two,
Who yelled, "Now I will try the shoe!"
"Try this instead!", the Prince yelled back.
He swung his trusty sword and smack,
Her head went crashing to the ground.
It bounced a bit and rolled around.
In the kitchen, peeling spuds,
Cinderella heard the thuds
Of bouncing heads upon the floor,
And poked her own head round the door.
"What's all that racket?" Cindy cried.
"Mind your own bizz," the Prince replied.
Poor Cindy's heart was torn to shreds.
My Prince! she thought. He chops off heads!
How could I marry anyone
Who does that sort of thing for fun?
Just then, all in a blaze of light,
The Magic Fairy hovered in sight,
Her Magic Wand went swoosh and swish!
"Cindy!" she cried, "Come make a wish!
Wish anything and have no doubt
That I will make it come about!"
Cindy answered, "Oh kind Fairy,
This time I shall be more wary.
No more Princes, no more money.
I have had my tast of honey.
I'm wishing for a decent man.
They're hard to find. D'you think you can?"
Within a minute, Cinderella
Was married to a lovely fella,
A simple jam-maker by trade,
Who sold good homemade marmalade.
Their house was filled with smiles and laughter
And they were happy every after.

Bolemic Super Villians

Here's a '97 drawing, the original was also done by Joe Q, except somehow I made Sabretooth look like he's gagging himself. This was done before I decided to kill my hand trying to get solid colors with pencils, if you've never tried to get a nice solid color with pencils and no paper showing through you should try. It's great fun on your hand and you become so familiar with the pencil sharpener in very short order.
Galactus vs. Spectre

Here's another "remake" I did, the original was done by Joe Quesada. I did this in '99 or something, this is when I started doing better with colored pencils, and considering it was done with crappy Crayolas, but then again Prismacolors are bad with ink because they cover over it so bad. So, it's give and take.
Watercolor!

tehe! Look at my beautiful watercoloring! I miss my sixth grade art teacher, I was pretty much the teacher's pet there. That's only because most kids don't care, and there's only the few who really want to really draw. Oh, I just remembered a better thing I did in sixth grade, too bad I have no idea where it is. Hmm...
One is the Loneliest Number
That you ever do.....Two can be as bad as one, but right now I think I might take anything I can I get. Plus I'm tired of having to feed myself, stupid crappy chinese food, at least I get to relish the Chai I am now so sweetly sipping.
Mmm......chai (drool)
Had to get some magazines for my "research" and wandered around the crappy Denton Golden Triangle Mall being sad that I am fairly responsible with my money and didn't allow myself to buy anything fun. Except for chai.....mmm.......
So now I'm trying to improve my mood by listening to the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack "mocha choka latta" and then something said in french "Lady Marmalade," right on. I need someone to whine to, I feel like being pathetic. Pathetic is my middle name. Damn you all for being away on Spring Break and going on vacations and stuff and things. Okay, not really, I'm not that angsty, but I am quite bored, and that chinese food was so disappointing, at least it's not making me sick.
JINX!
I'll probably be tossing some cookies later after announcing that. Mmmmm......chai

Damn Internet
Damnit! I was hoping that poem I typed up went through. Stupid Internet in my room, now I'm at my sis's where in which I hope to get some free food, and maybe NOW I can start doing some stuff for my research project. The only reason I went back to my dorm was so I would be able to use the Internet, and now that's gone to crap. Bitches. That was a pretty long ass poem to type up too, and now it's LOST!
I'm so depressed. Okay, not really. It would be helpful if I could pet a kitty, but my sister's cat is the least friendly cat in the world. Her name is Wolverine, but I like to call her La Diabla Gata. So cute, yet so cold.

Zaptastic!
I'm going scanning crazy! While searching for some comic pages that I did a couple of years ago I have found many drawings from years past and have proceeded to scan them in to share with ya'll. The earliest I've scanned in is a little watercolor thing I did in sixth grade, and to make those of you who already feel ANCIENT around me that would of been '96 or '97 I believe. Fun right?
Frank Zappa is a strange character, mmmm.....sex and drugs. I guess this is what I get for borrowing random CD's from my manfriend. You know what I also found? a poem that I read for some competition that I did in third grade. I should type it up, it's quite an interesting piece done by Roald Dahl (you know, "James and the Giant Peach") and I remember exactly how I read it. Quite funny (Damn Frank, why are you so strange! "residual echoes" WTF!) (I think I'm high on something, but I don't know what. I wonder if there's some strange chemical in Cherry Vanill Dr. Pepper.) Anyways, I remember being sick when I had to read it for competition, and I was so stuffy, and it sucked, and I was so upset because I didn't advance and the two other kids from my school did. I was rather distressed, stupid cold.
I can't concentrate with this funky ASS music. I also happened to find a poem that I wrote Sophomore year (the radio is broken, it don't work anymore) (Damn posters! They're going to fall on my head while I'm sleeping I know it!) which still seems to sum me up quite well. I suppose I could post that up here too. You all don't even care do you. I'm just babbling to myself out here with Zappa zapping crap weird lyrics into my head. Well it's not so much the lyrics, but the weird ass way he is singing, I can't describe it really, it's just that he says words up and down the scale in a lounge singer type way (Star Wars, nothing but Star Wars).
Wow, so I'm going nowhere with this post. I went to the Comm. Design conference this weekend which was quite entertaining. I'm such a nerd, I was excited about paper, and oohing and ahing over printing processes. (Fucking poster! Stay down damnit!) And the posters I'm complaining about I got for "free" (see, I had to pay $50 to go to this thing, so they aren't really free) and since the damn dorms are made from pure concrete and painted with super slick paint I can't push pin anything into the walls or tape anything up very well. Bitches. Mmm.....Jazz Discharge Party Hats, fun. "There was nothing left to do, it was Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's two o'clock in the morning....They're not going to get any nooky anyways....."
Shit. Brain has gone vacation. How am I ever going to get my research project done with me laughing at every stupid little thing?

Sabretooth

Here's a picture I did about um....I guess four maybe five years ago. I wish I could take credit for the idea, but all this is is a recreation of a piece done by Dave DeVries (NOT Mark Texeria, he did a miniseries on Sabretooth that I happen to have, got mixed up in my head). I like it a lot though, and I got to experiment with watercolor pencils. Sweet.

Fudge Knees!
Sounds like a curse word, right? FUDGE KNEES!
Alrighty, got all my stuff situated for tomorrow, gonna have to take a few trips to the car, but it'll be worth it. Spring Break here I come! Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be filled with Comm Design ooey gooey goodness, and then after that....either veg at my manfriend's abandoned apartment (he has a kitchen and tv and multiple rooms, so therefore beats my shitty dorm room any day even when it is filled with lots and LOTS of crap) or I may decide to drive to EP. The latter is sounding less likely, because my car's ten years old now, with a fair amount of miles on it and has randomly broken down before. Soo......risking it on a 500 + mile drive might not be the best idea. Plus it might be good if I see a sibling or two in that time frame, but seeing as I've only talked to ONE of the three since Christmas, I'm not so sure I'll be doing too much of that.
Anyways, I am looking forward to having a break, I need to do a "research project" over the break, and I might catch up on some readings, but I'll have plenty of time to do all that. I've decided that I just want to do a whole lot of nothing this coming week, sounds quite nice really. Oh! Right! keep forgetting to tell people of my stupidity or more like clumsiness, I keep forgetting because it only hurts when I walk and now I've been sitting for some time.
So here it goes.....Last night after a late night IHOP meeting (where in which I was publicly dumped, but still felt it okay to talk to the guy (this is a joke people, not real, one of my mf's friends....and I guess mine too)) I was unable to find a reasonably distanced parking space. So after driving around for almost 20 MINUTES! (can you believe that, it really sucked) I got a spot in this one area that isn't too bad, but until last night wasn't aware that they were Resident spots (learn something new everyday) (oh, and btw I got my poster project turned in fine, my week has been progressing much more nicely since Tues. except for the fact that I have a cold now and have been sneezing like crazy. Anyways, back to the story....). Since where I work was a lot closer to my car than my dorm I decided I'd move it after work. So I walk over, well I use "walk" loosely because apparently I don't know how to walk and can't pick up my feet enough so that I don't drag them into a ditch in the street and plow my knees into the pavement. OW! I have not taken a fall like that in quite some time. So now my knee causes me to hobble a bit (hopefully this will pass) and going down stairs is a bitch. Damn car parked far away in area I am incapable of walking in. I blame you IHOP! and your delicious sundaes too! all warm and gooey with hot fudge!
Mmmm..........fudge
Where was I? Oh yeah, my knee. It hurts. Right.
I guess that story could have been shorter, but what fun is that? I guess I should get some sleep, maybe I'll eat an orange first though, that might be good. Vitamin C. Good for colds, and sneezing I suppose. Fudge knees!

Awful, just awful
Ah the mother fuckers! Can no one print out posters? Because I don't think anyone can, I've tried the art lab and the copy place in the Union and neither seem to be able to print out posters. And the Union printing is just trippy. First of all one of the ink heads was really dirty or dried out or something and printer kept printing streaks, so that took forever and a day and I'm supposed to be in my Philosohpy class right now, but the poster has taken precedence over EVERYTHING! The weirdest thing is that it was printing the right colors, just streaky, but once they fixed the problem and it was printing cleanly, the colors completely fucking changed on me! Well all except for my orange and white, my black changed to gray, my blue to blue green, and my violet to black. Why? No one knows.
You know what's also great, I feel like I could throw up at any minute because I'm one of those women that can sometimes get the really bad curl-up-in-a-ball-and-cry-like-a-baby cramps. No fun, ug, I feel so nauseous. I'm going to lay down now, and I am honestly not going to work tonight if this keeps up. I'll fill in tomorrow or something if needed, it's actually easier to not say anything, because they hard on giving permission, but forgiveness they hand out like candy, or something. I think I'm gonna hurl.

Coasting Easy
Well, I just got over a big silly high with my friend after I was hanging out with her in the computer lab. The damn printer is out of black and they don't have any more because they're bastards, so now I'm going to pay to get my poster printed out, hopefully all goes well with that tomorrow, because I don't want to pay for Kinkos printing because they are way overpriced. (I'm going to a copy place here at school, what I just wrote didn't make much sense.) Damn printer. Pay fees for the stupid lab and it can't even print out everyone's projects. Bitches.
I have now become recently RE-addicted to Roller Coaster Tycoon, which may not be for the best, but oh do I love it so. I like how I can design roller coasters that NOONE will ride because they're too intense, wusses. I would so ride any of the rides I design barring they aren't going to crash (most of mine don't, I connect the tracks and everything) but I have made a mistake or two in the past which is why I always make them go through a test run. It's sad when the little people die even though they don't really exist, or do they? I remember accidentally deleting some piece of sidewalk right outside a ride exit that was over some water and SO MANY people drowned because when the ride was finished all these people would walk out into the water, I was kind of depressed after that. Oh, and the first time I had a roller coaster crash on me (station brakes failure) I was so sad, and none of the digitized people would ride it afterwards, "I'm not riding that -- it's not safe," but the mechanic wouldn't fix it fast enough! Bitches. No one even knows what I'm talking about anymore, maybe I'll start singing the theme song to Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers again or something.
Chi, chi, chi, chi, chi, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers!
I swear it's just silliness, no unnatural substances here, the combination of sleepiness and sugar and strange friends will create some interesting results. Oy vey. I'm really sleepy now, I think I'll go to bed soon, right after I play some more Roller Coaster Tycoon, righteous. Crap, I didn't just say "righteous" did I? That word should be shot, maybe I'll sic and evil squirrel upon it.
Later taters.

It Lifts and Separates
YAY! Irish Festival! That's what I did all day. Went to the Irish Festival where I spent WAY too much money, but I guess that'll happen from time to time. So many things to see, so many SHINY and PRETTY things to see. So....I bought a necklace, a ring, and some earrings, and all my problems are solved, or not. It wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't cost so frickin' much to get in, because my jewelry really wasn't that expensive at all. I honestly think I have to be one of the cheapest women to buy for, because I don't want expensive, pretty things, I like cheap pretty things, because then I don't feel nearly as bad if I lose it (I lose earrings all the time). So yeah, money go bye-bye.
I did try on a corset, that was fun, if it weren't so pricy I'd buy one for shits 'n giggles. My friend took a picture of me, so when those get developed I'll try and remember to post it on here. With the right tools I too can have bust line. Dogs were everywhere. Not just any kind of dogs either, there were lots of Irish Wolf Hounds, which I had never seen in person until today. GINORMOUS dogs, and there was a Mastiff, dear lord, what a massive dog, 200 POUNDS! Who needs a pony with a dog like that?
Pretty stuff, bodices, giant dogs, anything else? Oh yes, I had the BEST STEAK EVER! I love you TGI Fridays and your Jack Daniels Flat Iron Steak. I haven't had steak in so long, it was fantastic. All you people who have seen me eat before would have been AMAZED, I finished my whole meal in about 10 minutes. Mmmm.....I miss you already steak, I will keep you in my dreams. Snap out of it! Alright, I need to take a shower, and hopefully I'll here from my manfriend later, but it's a little late now. Hope everyone's weeked is going swell!

Kingdom Come
Amazing! I've been working on my poster for almost six hours straight (I took a half hour break when I discovered I was STARVING) and I am very happy I have my poster pretty much done. I can't really think of anything else to add until I ask for someone else's input and see if they have any viable suggestions. I have a couple of areas I'm afraid might need quite a bit of tweeking, but like I said, I really need someone else's eye right now. Mmmm....eyeballs and flat Dr. Pepper.
Anyways, I think I've earned a break, I might go to the computer lab later so I can print out a full size version of my poster because there are some things you can't really figure out on itty bitty scale. I'm quite proud of myself, I guess I'm a bit more productive if I don't have "distractions."
Oh yes, this morning in my attempt not to become soaked I "ran" for a bit to the art building, and I'm almost suprised I still retain the ability to run, but while running I lose the ability to breathe. Don't ask me why, but I can breathe much better while swimming than while running (makes a lot of sense right?). Speaking of which, with my lack of distractions maybe I should go swimming, that sounds like a pretty good idea. Working out, what a novel idea!
OMG! I've so been forgetting to share with everyone my greatest comicbook purchase ever in the history of comicbook purchases! I just bought "Kingdom Come" which is illustrated by Alex Ross (only on of the coolest artists EVER!) and the story is quite fantastic as well. It was only about $15 and it's over 200 pages of illustrated superhuman goodness. It's remarkable that it's taken me so long to realize the neccesity of said purchase, because this has been out since '97. Way too long for me to wait. I wasn't making much money in '97 (saved up lunch money mostly) but if I knew of the fantabulous "Kingdom Come" I would have saved up for it.
Excuse my nerdiness, but it's very exciting. Mmmm.....last of the flat Dr. Pepper. Alright, I've got a plan of action now: go swim for 45 minutes or so, go to the art lab and print out my poster, go get food, and sit around on my ass for as long as I please. Ready......GO! Well, maybe not RIGHT now, but soon, that is if I can motivate my lazy bones.
ANDALE PUES!

Fatigued
As can be gleemed from my "quote", I am quite tired of work. I have class till 5 on Wednesdays and I don't want to work afterwards. Let alone wear army camouflage because all the cafeterias are trying to recruit "strapping, healthy, young people" to go into the service. The recruiters even asked if I would like to join the army, and I don't, not for me, no thanks. The most I've ever done is hold a pull up at one of the Marine recruiter stations that are periodically set up so I can get a free t-shirt that is ALWAYS too big for me.
I am very tired now, I'm still not all that sure what the whole army thing was for, or what prompted it, but it wasn't too bad I guess. There was a life size WWII figurine (I guess that's what you'd call it) who looked like he was about to kill you and it was one of the first thing that people would see coming into the cafeteria, and scaring the shit out of some people. So that was rather entertaining.
Alright, I'm too tired to write anymore so I'm going to do the smart thing and go to bed, cause that's what you do when your tired, just as soon as I finish my orange. Mmmm.....orange.
"Did you see who robbed the store?"
"No, man they were wearing camouflage."
"Well, did you get their license plate number?"
"NO! The bastards backed away!"

Long Beautiful BURGUNDY Hair
So yeah, dyed my hair tonight for no particular reason. My friend was dying her boyfriend's hair a dark auburn and there was plenty of dye left, and since I've dyed my hair pretty much this color before and knew it would look okay, I said, "hey, I should dye my hair too." Immediately excited with the idea my friend gladly got to work on dying my hair. So my hair is a dark reddish brown now, yay. I'm going to try and borrow someone's digital camera so that I can post a picture on here since this only semi-permanent dye, and so that all can see.
WOW! I just got done drying my hair and it is quite dark, but it looks shway cool. I guess dying my hair during the spring semester might become a regular thing for me, I did it last year in May I think. So yeah, look pretty darn spiffy if you ask me, looks kind of like a burgundy or red wine or something, sweet.
So the fact that I've been blessed with extra time with my poster deadline pushed back has been reprimanded with extra hours at work, ugh. Though today went rather quickly, my friend (mentioned in the previous paragraphs) spent most of it with me and we talked and she got free food and all was quite well with the world. Never had my work pass by so blissfully and not seem like FOREVER. Not watching the minutes tick by was a very nice change. Oh, and also I got my Philosophy test back today and I made a 93! so that's semi-exciting. Other than all that jazz I don't have much to report about me, and I apologize for not having any amusing anecdotes, I'm rather tired you know. So good night, and good news.
