Okay, so it's already tomorrow (again) but I had pretty good day. Not too much homework, just a boring essay on the scientific method, and I got to eat some pizza today, and when I wasn't in class or writing stupid essays or eating pizza I was playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (which is way cool, and I know I'm a nerd for playing video games, but it's so damn COOL!). Nerdiness aside, it was nice to not have to worry about a shitload of homework for once, and now since I've played the night away I guess I'll go to bed. All right, so it's techically tomorrow, but who the hell cares? Today I procrastinated the worst (or best actually) than I have all semester. With having projects I really don't want to do and an essay that I don't want to write (even though it's really easy) I sought out any excuse for not doing my work. This involved staring off into space, eating really slow at dinner, going to Wal-Mart (what better place is there to waste time?) and playing games, and then staring off into space some more. Rather productive day I must say, and I eventually got around to doing what I needed to do, though not at very high quality, but I'll probably get a B no matter what I turn in, and this is just not that interesting of a project. Not that challenging really, and it involves kind of overused techniques, so um.....yeah. Well, I better get to bed soon, I do have an eight o'clock class tomorrow, yippie skippy. So now I go to dream strange, weird dreams, because I don't know if I've ever had one that makes sense.

Yay for naps and lunch with manfriends! Just finished finding typefaces in magazines for my next Typography class. Also I got a copy of Eddie Izzard's Dressed to Kill and it was fantabulous. Very funny man, he's British, an executive transvestite, and super sarcastic....I couldn't think of a funnier combination in a comedian. Now, I'm debating if I should eat now (I ate not that long ago) or wait till after my 3 hour class which may mean I'll be starving later, but I do have a high laziness factor so the after class meal might be more likely. A pudding cup may hold me over.....I don't know, but if I mull too long it will be too late, eek!

I did a survey thingy last night, one of those you can send to everybody because you just thought they'd really like to hear more about yourself. I don't know why anyone WOULDN'T want to know more about me, I mean, come on, I'm fantabulous! Printing words with a Gumby figure is oodles of fun! And then just getting messy in general is GREAT! I don't know if ya'll understand how much I needed a project that wasn't so focused on being "perfect" and "neat" and "clean" but on just being creative in a different way, not to mention MESSY! Yes, and I've heard the comment Messy Missy before, if you just thought of it you haven't thought up anything new. Right now I've just finished matting my poster for Computers in Art and before that I finished up my Color and Rendering homework which was a pain in the butt (actually back because I've had to sit hunched over for so long). Other than all of that shit not too much has happened to me today, so now I'll go take a shower and maybe look for typefaces in magazines. Fun stuff!

Well, I've been somewhat successful on my poster thingy I was doing in PhotoShop, at least now I've got something to show for class. Now that I'm done with that for the day I'm listening to Godsmack on my computer with my feet on my subwoofer under my desk, very cool. Bass is very cool (if you don't already know, Godsmack uses quite a bit of bass in their music, and I'm being really nerdy right now). And now I'm really hungry and my mind is wandering quite a bit because I've been working on that damn poster for over 4 hours now and it's still pretty far from being finished. Grrrr.......oh well, I'm learning how to use computers for art......sort of.

Alright well I blog on later loozas (actually I'm the looza because I was in the grocery store the other day with the Old Dude and I became very interested in this one brand of fruit drink or something called Looza, and what was cool about it was that the o's were merged together to look like grapes or cherries and I just thought it was such a cool identity mark, but I'm a nerd and a looza so only other Comm Design geeks will understand my fascination. Very tired am I, but I feel obligated to inform my viewers of my all but exciting day. Well.....actually, yesterday was pretty fun and I haven't talked about that, but I helped make some good stir fry with the old dude, got homework done, and then I got a great pork steak from the old dude, a very nice day in fact. Today.....was not so fun. Woke up at 7:30 to go "work" (in actuality I just sit on my ass bored out of my mind for an exceedingly long time, but it's kind of a job). Oh, and my film didn't develop for my swimming pictures, oh joy. Now I have to find someone to either take a picture of or take pictures of me. I really don't care which. Yay for last minute projects! and I was actually trying to do it ahead of time, but no, the photo gods decided to smite me, and I now have been smitten and smote and stuff and things.

Enough of that crap, I'm going to go to bed soon, and I've officially decided to stop the Abbott and Costello knock off routine in my Random Quotes. Poor Sticky Mouse

Wow, I've just become completely bored right now. I could do homework, but I've already done what "needs" to be done, and I'm tired of coloring and cutting and gluing squares onto bristol board (don't ask). I've already grown weary of Super Mario 3 and I'm kind of sleepy, but don't really want to go to sleep. I don't know what I want right now. I'm worried a bit (actually a LOT) about finances, I have no money, and my loan still hasn't come in. Art projects are costing so much, and I don't even have any fun money. The Old Guy has been paying for any diversions that I've partaken in, other than that I don't think I've spent much more than 20 bucks on just "whatever stuff" this school year. I kind of want to watch a movie, but I don't think I have the attention span for that. I felt great before, and now I'm all blahzey.

Okay, enough bitchin' and moanin' for now. Something kind of exciting happened today, the mouse was caught. I found it this morning on the sticky pad, and at first I thought it was dead.....but it wasn't. So.....I worried about what to do for a bit, but since I had to go to class I couldn't do much of anything. So I told the lady at the front desk to call the exterminator guy to pick it up and then proceeded to go to class. When I got back the mouse was gone, but when I asked my roommate if the exterminator guy came by she didn't know what the hell I was talking about. Right now I'm hoping she just slept through it, and he came and took the mouse, but what I'm afraid of (cause the sticky pad is still here) is that the mouse actually escaped, and it might be hurt and it might die and we might get a stinky ass mouse carcass decomposing somewhere in or near our room. What a nice image, yes?

I'm poor, caught mouse (I really hope the exterminator guy didn't kill it), and I'm still bitching. Alright, I think all the bases are covered for today. I think socialization would improve my mood, but seeing as I'm quite tired and lacking in enthusiasm, I don't believe that will be happening tonight. 8-Bit Memories

Well, I think I've wasted enough time tonight playing old Nintendo games. It's just that Super Mario 3 is so cool, ah, the days of yor. No saving of games so you had to leave it on pause forever, and overheat the console. Where you knew where all the little secrets were, and I was so excited that I got a frog suit, those were the coolest. Pretty hard to control on land, but underwater was so cool. Okay, I admit it, I'm a nerd, and I haven't played any video games for quite some time. Despite my wasted time on old video games I have actually gotten a lot done today, went to class, retook some pictures, went swimming, finished up some homework.

Typography class was pretty funny, see we have to find 5 typefaces each week from a total list of 30, so we turned them in today. Apparently though one guy found one of his typefaces in an "adult" magazine and put in a good portion of the story on the little sheet we have to paste these on. Our profressor then made comment, "Ya'll did pretty good on this, but you should really make sure what you cut out is appropriate for the whole class," and then he proceeded to smack the guy who turned it in. Pretty funny stuff, but I guess it's one of those "had to be there stories", so sorry for that.

My brain's shutting off now, and I don't have anything interesting to say (as you can already tell if you've read this far) so I'll jabber on more tomorrow, and everyone have a good night! Oh, and just a side note, I've noticed that since I've been having to do art projects that require other people's help I have become much less shy. Whipping of the Ass

Today I have been visited by Major Ass Whip. Very little downtime today, there was never a moment that I could say I had nothing to do, and you know what, I really like doing nothing. I had class, took a test online, did some homework, squeezed a meal in there, went to the photo place, went to class (oh, and if you don't already know this, both my classes are three hours long) came home, did some more homework, and then I finally got to take a shower and now I'm munching on crackers and Dr. Pepper, so is the college life. Strangely my roommate is already asleep and usually she's up till at least one every night, oh well. I guess I don't have to listen to her watching Alias anymore tonight.

Interesting "Developments"

Well, I thought I was doing good, but apparently not. I took all of my pictures of typefaces and things for Typography only to find out today that one of the rolls of film I used can't be processed by anyone except for Kodak. Stupid K-14 film! So I think I have to retake all those pictures which is going to take time that I don't have much of. Speaking of time, I still need to finish my color and rendering stuff, study for my Art History test, finish my thumbnails for computers in art, and sleep at some point. So enough ranting and raving for now, but I will say that I had a really good spagetti dinner last night, that was nice. Off I go to accomplish great things.

Eek! A Mouse! (Take Two)

Okay, since I didn't finish my story of the mouse earlier, because stupid blogger deleted it as I was publishing. THE BASTARDS! Well, anyways, there's been a mouse in our dorm room and lately he's been hanging out in my closet. So finally the exterminator guy came, but all we got are sticky pads, so now when the mouse runs over one we get to hear it scream and try and chew it's legs off if we don't get it outside. I don't want to kill it or anything, I just want it out of my closet, and for it to stop eating my chips.

Actually went swimming, that was nice, even though I feel really slow and weak. I don't have too much else to talk about. A rather lazy weekend I must say. I got to write the word "irksome" 25 times for Typography, which was a very irksome task. HA! I had to write the word irksome and I described the process as being irksome. Witty. You see cause I used the same word, and.....oh nevermind....you'll never get it.

Yay, for infestation! Just killed a roach while in the middle of writing this blog. Oh joy.
