So, I sort of have a new pet. He's cute, he's cross-eyed and simultaneously meows and hisses at me when I try to pet him, he is "Porch Kitty".

My internet wasn't working last night so I could post any pictures. So here's a picture of a MIG-Gun I took at work the other day (since I'm at work right now). It's got a little switch! but I don't know what it does. Again, how exciting.

It's been raining quite a bit around here and I saw that some water droplets were collecting nicely on my hibiscus. This is almost 100% crop of the original photo, so it's an extreme close-up.

Balloon Glow

I found out there was a balloon festival this weekend and was able to make it to the balloon glow tonight. Unfortunately they weren't able to fill the balloons because of the wind, but they put on a very cool fire display. See more here.

Glamour Boscoe!

Just got my new 135mm lens with soft-focus today. Now I can do Glamour Shots! Actually this is a very sharp lens when the soft-focus dial is turned off, and I probably won't use that feature all that much, but it's still fun to play with.

Infrared Weed

I really like how infrared darkens the sky, it helps for making dramatic outdoor images.

Bike Gears

I guess this photo shows how well I keep my bike from getting rusty and gunky. Which is not very.

Morrison's Corn Kits

I drive by this thing all the time, so I thought I would try to get a good vantage point and shoot the building using my new infrared filter. The original photo is ultra red, so a whole of post processing (doing crap to it on the computer) has been done to the photo.

Random Time of the Year Resolution

I think I'm going to try to force myself to blog and take photos everday. How do I accomplish that? By making this a "Photo a Day" blog. I'll also try to rant when the occassion presents itself, but I feel like I'm a in a little bit of a rut lately and maybe this "Random Time of the Year Resolution" will help.

So, since I've just decided on this and I didn't take any pictures earlier today. Here's a photo of some delicious Milano cookies I'm about to enjoy.* A picture I took yesterday of this dusty white moth that was on my front door.


Now onto a rant. Does anyone go to Arby's and not want the Arby's sauce? Why do they think people go to Arby's in the first place? Why even ask? No, I'd like my roast beef sandwich to be as dry as possible, I want it to feel like I'm eating toilet paper, I want the sandwich to actually suck up all the saliva in my mouth. OF COURSE I WANT ARBY'S SAUCE! Fake barbeque sauce is why I came here in the first place. I'd also appreciate if my order didn't take 15 minutes to fill. I ordered a number 1, nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary. Did someone fall in the fryer back there? If you're having trouble filling orders just say so and I'll go somewhere else, because I'm starving over here. I do not want to wait, that's why I came to your FAST food establishment. Oh, and also your Arby's sauce, which you didn't give me. Because no one goes to Arby's for the sauce apparently. I'm not asking for the bottle, just two packets will do. Two packets, is that so much to ask?
