MAGNIFICO!

So...yet again my car has declared that it is tired of running properly. Two days before my trip home (about a 600 mile drive) my car is now making some weird rattling noise. It still performs fine, but who knows how long that'll last. My dad thinks maybe one of the engine mounts might have broken since I described the sound as metal clanging on metal. Hopefully not too expensive. Oh, and my dad also called me a jinx. So now I'm going to wake up bright and early and take my car to Goodyear (I'm sick of PepBoys after my ordeal with them over the summer) and hopefully I'll get my car back later in the day...fixed...with no more rattling...and not another problem randomly appearing.

My dad did say if I can actually make it home with this car, he might end up letting me take their car (they have two, so the less nice one but still nicer than my car). So if I can just make it home, I'll be doing good.

Le sigh...so I did some laundry, I cleaned my room yesterday (clean is nice) and now I get to wake up nice and early tomorrow. I also happen to be listening to "Bohemian Rhapsody"...and I know all the words. Sweet.

gallileo. GALLILEO. gallileo. GALLILEO. Gallileo figaro. MAGNIFICOOOOOOOOOO!

Ah, good times, good times. Anyways, I'm off to bed. Night folks.

Veganize Me.

So, I made a killer vegan chili last night for my bf's birthday (which is today, but sadly I now have sort of a real job and was unable to make the trip to his place at a reasonable time today) and watched the "Fantastic 4," which was quite fun.

I'm excited about going home to my parents' this weekend for a Merry Christmas time. I'll be driving down by myself and Boscoe birdy will accompany me. He's pretty much the reason I'm driving myself, otherwise I might hitch a ride with one of my other family members in the area. The drive will be nice though, I drove from Ohio during the summer fine, so this should be a piece of cake.

I believe I'm done with my Christmas shopping, I may still buy some little gifts, but I can only really afford to get decent stuff for immediate family. I think I might make crappy jewelry or something for people, it'll keep me busy and maybe somebody will actually like it enough to wear. Go hemp necklaces!

Right now I'm trying to get a cool little compilation CD/songlist going. It's so nice not having any homework to do. I played video games for a while, but I got sick of that after a while, and then I had no clue what I should do with myself (I should clean my room) but it was a nice kind of boredom.

Now that I think of the songs I'm putting together, most of them are kind of depressing or just somber. I wouldn't read too much into that.

Anyways, I'm going to go back to doing very little and potentially go to bed soon. I really like Christmas Break.

It's All About the Presentation

You know the last day of class would be much more enjoyable if it weren't for the fact that I have to work tomorrow, and next week. That's one thing I miss about school jobs, but then again I really need the money.

I thought I was going to have to adopt a kitty for a couple of minutes tonight. My new roommate (have I mentioned anything about a new roommate? I'm getting a new roommate, or another roommate I guess. So now there will actually be 3 people living in this apartment instead of just two, and hopefully all will be well) and this kitty ran through the open door I guess looking for comfort after roomy got upstairs putting another box in her room. I'm always up for adopting a kitty, well, she was full grown, but all cats are kitties to me. Plus I'm up for the challenge of getting a kitty and Boscoe to coexist peacefully. Alas though, the kitty ran out as soon as new roomy came down, one too many people I suppose. Oh well, I'll get a kitty another day.

I got to present the crappy video me and my groupmates made a couple weeks ago, and it was something pretty awful. I don't know why we all thought everything was so great and funny while we were making it and it end up just being random and only slightly amusing at a few points. There were a few chuckles, but mostly it was just laughing at how BAAAD our production was. I guess our sleep deprivation and massive amounts of school work made us think anything could be funny while we were making that damn video. I think college messes up your brain more than drugs and you would agree if you get see the video. "This what an education does to your brain...it makes you stupid." Such a bad bad video.

Anyways, since I am going to work tomorrow I better get bed, though I'm not going in until 10, because there's no way I'm waking my ass up in time to be there at 8. Two hours can make all the difference in the world.

Lapse

Tomorrow's my last day of school, and I'm done with my boxes for packaging and I just have to pop in a video for my presentation in Graphic Design History. All is well. So this weekend I don't have to worry about a damn thing...well, except for what I'm going to do with Boscoe so I can home for Christmas, and buy gifts, and...oh yeah SLEEP! Oh glorious sleep. Actually I did sleep plenty last weekend, but it will be nice to truly have nothing to worry about though.

So, there's a big lapse in time from this sentence and the last one, and now it's 2:20 in the morning and I better actually go to bed now.

Damn, I haven't written one of these in a while.

?

Yay! Almost done with the semester! Quite exciting and I have no idea why I am still up this late. I think I'm done designing my packages for Thursday now all I have to do is got print and build them tomorrow, which may be easy or a big pain. I suppose it depends on how the Comm Design gods feel tomorrow. If necessary I can skip work, they know it's finals week, and Thursday and Friday I'll be able to work more than my usual 4 hours a day if need be.

Oh the joy. Hopefully I'll have a kick ass printer for next semester and having to get stuff printed won't be such a hassle all the time, it will be glorious times. I did make mini comps of my boxes last night, they are quite cute, I think I'll just make a mini portfolio that I can send in the mail to potential employers and they can see all my stuff in mini. Mini is always cooler. I don't even know what I'm talking about. I should just go to bed, but I've felt bad for not posting much lately, but so's life.

Wish me luck on getting my packages done in an orderly fashion tomorrow with very little stress, because that would just be nice. Nice things are nice. I'll be going now.

SNOW DAY!

Okay, so I haven't posted in a while. So sue me, but you won't get much from me I'll tell you that much. The school year is coming to a close and I've had oodles of projects to finish up that are all due next week.

I've been working on stuff ALL THE DAMN TIME! Except for today, you know why? Because it was a snow day and seeing as I've never had a real snow day before (I grew up in the desert) I felt it needed to be acknowledged with...NOTHING! And nothing is a very glorious thing. I like doing nothing, especially after having to do SOMETHING all the time.

Nothing is a nice change of pace. I got to sleep, play video games. I even got a new video game last weekend (I had to redeem myself from that stupid Marvel game I bought) and got "Sly Coooper 2: Band of Thieves" for only $20 and it is infinitely better than "Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects." I'm quite proud of myself for finding something good and cheap and addicting, a fantastic combination.

I probably should have ate better today since I did have the time to cook, but...I didn't. I'll eat better when school ends. I really want school to be over. Really. I do only have one project that I'm not done with, but I should be fine since I won't have to divide my time with other projects since I'm DONE with them, or might as well be. They aren't quite turned in yet, but they will be soon. Packaging always gives me problems though, I have a hard time in that class. Try designing a package sometime, it's hard, a successful package I mean, because there's a lot of crap out there. One that looks good and actually makes sense and a customer can find the information easily and hopefully it isn't OVER packaged, at least not too much, depending on what's being sold. It's hard stuff.

Whatever, I better get to bed, it is 3 in the morning. Snow days are nice, that is unless you actually have to GO somewhere, but if you don't snow days are nice. Night all.
