I want a hippopotaomus for Christmas!

Very Merry Birthday to You!

Sorry for the lack of postings, but Christmas time is here! and that means a supreme slacking off time for mwa. Plus when I make it back to El Paso(which is tomorrow!!!!!!!), my parents computer lacks the speed to update my blog.....so, yeah. very little will be heard of me during the Christmas season, unless you write an email or call me and really, REALLY want to know what I'm up to.

Anyways, today is very cool because it is the 19th of December and it just so happens to be my manfriend's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure he's ecstatic about turning another year old and I'm still 19. Damn my 19-year-oldness. So that's fun. I'm not sure what we're doing for the little bit of time we will be spending together (since he's working on his birthday, silly boy) and I'm trying to think of something uber nice, but I don't know what to do. Crap. I could buy dinner....but my funds allow for (at the nicest) Chilis or something, and he'd probably insist on paying anyways.

I'm going off to ponder what I can do for my manfriend. You all can read old posts if you are really bored and have as much free time as I do. Have a fun and safe Christmas holiday, I'll talk with you peeps lay-ta.

Printing

Just waiting for some crap to print out. Seems as though that's all us Comm. Design students are doing lately. I'm glad I got my booklet done, some people are having to stress out about getting all there stuff printed out on the crap printer in the computer lab. Good thing I cheated and just xeroxed of all my things, I didn't do a damn thing on the computer like what was intended, but there wasn't much point in using the computer, it looks fine the way it is. So yeah, all of this is fun, but it really is a big pain in the but having to wait for everything to print out nice. I think I'll go to Kinkos for my final poster, but I don't want to pay for just roughs and besides, I'm already paying an arm and a leg for tuition and fees here so I might as well use the materials they have for us to use.

Sweet, all printed off now, all I have left is color rendering and that's mostly just mounting my work up nicely. I feel kind of bad, I'm having an easier time than most on all of these art projects, I'm sure I'll have bad days in the future though, and everyone that works hard and cares enough to do their work will be fine I'm sure. Good luck to all the commies (comm. designers that is) I'm going home.

Elementals

Your element is Water: Understanding, intelligent, quiet and calm. You know who you are and no one can change that. Usually quiet but only because your listening, don't let anyone think you haven't got an opinion! Your not quiet because your shy or sad, your usually quiet because your thinking. Your answers are well planned and helpful so people generally seek your advice. Your the perfect balance between solitary and outgoing. But sometimes you need a little time to yourself to sort out your emotions and figure things out. You understand the phrase 'sticks and stone' and rarely let things get to you, whats that important for you to have to get so upset over? You know what you want out of life but are simply taking your time and enjoying things. To you your life is fine as it is, you can always change things later if your not happy.

Man I'm cool. Water is great! A very good element for me. Sweet.

Happy Thoughts

NO MORE BLOW. NO MORE BLOW.

Now that's a happy thought, tomorrow's my last real class day in color/rendering with the crap ass teacher. I'm sorry, but he really does kind of suck.....oh, I'm sorry, I mean blow.

Just finished watching some weird ass movie. "The House of Sand and Fog", kind of weird, lots of drama, but still very good. A little frustrating, it's far from being a clear cut movie with a definate good guy and definate bad. You start liking someone and then they just go do something stupid to frustrate you again. Only some of the more minor characters are more definate, but the big guns just have so many shades of gray, you don't really know who to root for. Rooting is fun. But a very good movie nonetheless, a nice change from regular flicks.

Okay, enough of my movie review, but it was "riveting" I must tell you. I've been a little out of it all day, but I have been slightly productive, I believe I can make my booklet and final "thing" for color by Thursday. Not too worried, I just can't get distracted by too many more movies that are "riveting". Well....as I said, my brain is not all here and I'm quite tired, so I suppose I shall retire to my bed (what's a fancy word for bed, I don't feel like getting a thesoraus, or dictionary, cause I don't think I spelled thesoraus right, or have I? No one knows. Well, unless you have a thesoraus or dictionary, or just know how to spell, but I know that anyone who reads this is probably dumber than me (cause they're reading this shit) and probably just as lazy). I'll ramble on more at a later date to share my idiosyncrecies (another mispelled word I'm sure) with all who care to read my blog of crap. So Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!
